Mr. Cumming is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School but spent most of his career as a business executive. He was a Vice President of Leucadia National Corporation, serving as the CEO of its insurance subsidiaries. For the last seven years, Mr. Cumming has been involved in the internet and data center industries as an executive and investor.
Chris has served as President of SingleEdge since 2007 and is responsible for the day to day operations and strategic direction of SingleEdge. He joined SingleEdge in 2002 when the startup data center he was managing was acquired by SingleEdge. With over 15 years of experience with various IT service providers (more than 10 years of that specific to the data center industry), Chris has a detailed understanding of what it takes to make a world-class data center operation successful.
Chris spent several years as Facility Manager and then as CTO of SingleEdge and brings those skills with him to his current role. This professional background and skill set allow him to offer a unique perspective on traditional business management needs, particularly those in the data center industry. Along with the SingleEdge management team, Chris is focused on providing innovative technology and power solutions to meet growing data center needs. Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and holds various industry level certifications.
Don has been with SingleEdge since 2000 when the Data Center broke ground, and is now a managing partner/owner since 2003. His key responsibilities are to grow sales through the agent program and direct sales. SingleEdge has seen steady growth in large part to Don's sales initiatives and goals.
Don brings 18 years of sales experience to the team, where he worked with various sized companies, ranging from small to large. Prior to SingleEdge, Don worked at Caterpillar corporate in the Sales and Marketing division, where they successfully created and implemented sales and marketing strategies for the hydraulics division for all Caterpillar dealers in North America. Don received his education at Boise State where he studied Sales and Marketing.
Dan has been a managing owner/partner in SingleEdge since early 2003. He has been the primary architect of the facility upgrades and expansions that have brought SingleEdge to its position as the leader in high density data center design and operation in the area. He has pioneered many design and operational techniques that improve reliability and efficiency in high power dense data rooms.
His focus has been and is on improving reliability, redundancy, security and efficiency in all areas of the physical facility. He has been issued two patents for the design of products that are being used nationwide to improve data center efficiency. He has a bachelor's degree from Weber State and has managed and operated numerous businesses throughout his career. He brings a wide variety of experience to the management team of SingleEdge.
